Visitors' opinions on Refuge d'Ortu di u Piobbu. The refuge building apparently burned down along with a lot of the vegetation. You can only rent a tent or sleep in your own. The area around the dining place looks messy wich was accentuated by mud streams of the rainfall the day before.

The route is difficult, 8 km long, average walking time is 7 hours when walked from Ortu di u Piobbu or about 5 hours in the opposite direction. The tent is warm and cozy as it is definitely cooler than it had been in the south. The clouds hang about the morning sky but nothing too threatening.
